Who cares about tiktok

Omega's picture

Zero disrespect meant. But seriously? You post spam on a gaming wiki about tik tok? Kinda dumb if you ask me. Anyone have anything worthwhile to add as a comment to the Skirnir Decimates page? Maybe someone can post the strategy behind the Luflit/Envy strategy. Already got mine to 6* but something like that might actually be helpful for players looking for information on Skirnir. Not useless and unimportant Tik Tok. End rant.

Old Cheese...

For the cheese Envy/Luflit strategy (A lot on Youtube...), the main idea is to use Envy, Lufflit and healers, just using Skirnir's attacks to hit himself from Envy and Lufflit skills +Reflect Barriers. Using high flat hp gear and healers help keep the team alive and do more damage from reflect barrier (I believe...) while glacial cloaks help apply reflect barrier. (Also bringing low defensive stats to maximize the damage on reflect) Use Envy/Lufflit skills on his action skill, from what I remember, there's a certain rythm that he does his action skill, maybe 3 auto attacks before action skill...? It could vary sometimes though.

Actually, it's 2 auto skills.

It's not one number. Boss

It's not one number. Boss action skill depends on boss skill gauge which depends on how hard you hit him, which is somewhat random. So it starts as 2 and continues to be mostly 2, but sometimes it will be 3 ... but in the third bar it will noticeably often be 1 (I am not sure if I have ever seen two actives in a row without any auto in between). (that's all for reflect strat, where him hitting you harder means him hitting himself harder, and therefore hitting you more often, and therefore hitting himself more often, vicious cycle repeat)

Im told nagisa demolishes skirnir. Dont have her yet and not 100% sure why shes so powerful against him.

S4 Manual Setup

Karyo's picture

There are two strategies:

(1) Using Reflection, which requires Esquire, Luflit and I think 3 healers.
(2) Keep automatas locked down and attack the boss normally, which requires heroes that have Shadowbound/Shade/Petrify.

I initially tried the reflection strategy, but could not do enough damage so had to switch to damaging the boss the normal way. My group setup is as follows:

Snake Blade Dinna

  • Schwartztrauer, Blades of Betrayal, Seal-Wing, Raven Harpe
  • Immortal Ring, Eye of Ruin, Pen Pen Earrings, Executioner's Band
  • Raging Shade Gauntlet

Greed Scion Curtana

  • Greed Blade (Sp), Yggdrasil Blade, Greed Blade X (Sp), New Year Katana
  • Kvasir's Blood Chalice, Misato's Sunglasses, Bracelet of Conflict, Rainbow Pendant
  • Raging Shade Gauntlet

Flower Mage Rapunzel

  • Chance Baton, Saitama's Hero Cape, Race Flag, Hellish Blizzard's Coat
  • Dragon Band, Genie Lamp, Crescent Necklace, Star Pendant
  • Raging Shade Boots

Dark Beast Tamer Luce

  • Poisonous Rose, Dark Spiral, Yggdrasil Bow, Valhalla Bow
  • Dragon Band, Bangle of Faith, Rainbow Pendant, Ring of Niflung
  • Raging Shade Gauntlet

Envy Scion Esquire

  • Tomb Keeper's Shovel, Book of Zeref, N2 Missile, Perfume Rifle
  • Dragon Band, Ring of Conflict, Schwarze Halskette, Bangle of Wisdom
  • Raging Shade Gauntlet

I initially equipped my heroes with gauge-up weapons but could not do enough damage that way, so had to replace them with dark element weapons.

As a general rule you use Action Skills of heroes as soon as they become available except when Skirnir's health bar is about to run out (you want to save them for the next health bar). The only exception is Esquire's AS which you should use when Skirnir's about to use his AS. Make sure you turn off Action Skill Animations in Settings, so your heroes' action skill animation does not make it hard to see when Skirnir is using his. When Skirnir is about to use his AS, the camera will zoom in and you will see a circle of light around him.

Save Limit Burst and use it only when Skirnir is about to use his AS and Esquire's AS is not available yet. This will interrupt Skirnir and should give just enough time for Esquire's AS to be available.

Good luck!!

The paralyze automaton method.

Bammykiller's picture

So, 3 heroes paralyzing, 2 big heavy hitters hitting, so with the 3 heroes, the autmatons are pretty much taken out of the cb the entire 5 mins. I've done multiple s4 cb's now and I finish with 1 min+ and sometimes even a minute 30. Noebel is very good of course, dark, but I used Kanna, she hits front row and is great for healing with hp up. I used also m sort but not everyone will have an m sort hero, but there's plenty of strong dark heroes out there. I also used Gilthunder, Viola, and Hyuga for paralyzing. Hyuga is one of the best heroes for the automaton for paralyze/shadowbound on Skirnir and does heavy damage to the front enemies. If you have any char with despair also a big plus, extending status ailments 1 more turn..

Etios or Skirnir?

Bammykiller's picture

You're right about Etios, and Skirnir. Hyuga does shadowbound, so I guess it could just be her skills and M Sort hitting with shadowbound, but the description for M Sort says it's grounded heroes only that get hit by her skill and automatons are always airborne. That or her pitchain status effect is also hitting the automaton? It doesn't say of course that nothing else hits, just they are more sus (lol no pun intended) to shade, shadowbound, petrify.

I have gotten Skirnir to 5 star mostly on s4 battles, not s3. I never die in s4 battles either, so somehow, something is working right.

Auytomatons are "vulnerable".

xKiv's picture

Auytomatons are "vulnerable". Disabling them with the appropriate status effect ignores all such restrictions.
If you have quick and some gauge up, one hero that disables all autamata can be enough.
